Dr. Barry is excited to offer a unique pediatric practice to the Santa Barbara community. As the first concierge-style practice for children on the Central Coast of California, Dr. Barry is excited to continue to grow and develop a modern approach to medical care with an old-fashioned style. She has two pediatric trained nurse practitioners who work directly with her to deliver cutting edge medical care for children in Santa Barbara.
She moved to Santa Barbara in 2004 where she worked as a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. Prior to moving to Santa Barbara, she worked at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, CA. She completed her pediatric residency at Stanford University Medical Center and is a graduate of Mayo Medical School in Rochester, MN and Scripps College in Claremont, CA.
She enjoys supporting the Santa Barbara community by providing educational talks for parents and has served as a member of the Angels Foster Care Board of Directors, the CALM Board of Trustees, and was previously the local representative for the American Academy of Pediatrics Southern California Chapter.
Dr. Barry is married to Dr. Anthony C. Romero, a local Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine at Santa Barbara Orthopedic Associates. They have twin boys, Joaquin and Lucas, and are excited to raise them in the Santa Barbara community.
